The ATX MBX-650 may look like the old MegaTec Column Adjustable Bench, because, it is. The mark 1 was a simple updated branding of a tried-and-tested bench - the same great adjustable weights bench that it always was :). The MBX-650 is the ideal bench for use with a compact power rack or half rack, the ATX Column Adjustable Bench adjusts on a column; therefore, if you're pressing from the rear of the frame, you're no further away from the lift-offs whether you're performing flat bench press or upright shoulder press.

What's different with the mark 2 bench upgrade? 

While receiving a facelift, the cosmetic changes serve a practical purpose, too. The better-finished transport and adjustment handles are actually nice to use, too. The rubber casing on the rear foot and surrounding the wheel serve to protect the rear leg, act as a footrest, and the protects the wheels from knocks. Good looking and functional - these are the small improvements The Gym Revolution like to see in these tried-and-tested benches.
