Details of the MBX-660 Adjustable Bench:

The go-to bench, if you're training at home or in the garage and want a good all-rounder, which includes decline and the availability of add-on attachments. Really, it's a full commercial-grade bench and, with a basic ladder adjustment, there's nothing to go wrong with it. Even in a home gym, you'll be pushed to swap out the upholstery ever (it lasts circa 4-years in our commercial gym!). So, in essence, you're get a bomb-proof commercial bench for home, which allows you to add (plug-in) additional stations, such as the preacher curl station and the leg developer, which aren't too far removed from our standalone station - it just saves you money and space. 

What other adjustable benches should I be looking at?

If the MBX-660 is beyond your budget, I recommend reviewing the cheaper MBX-520. It's a lesser build-quality, but you lose very little in terms of functionality. If it's for a commercial gym, I recommend either the MBX-750 or MBX-800. We have both of these in our own commercial gym facility. 

NB: If you have a shallow rack, you may wish to review the MBX-650, which slides up and down on a column, allowing you to get closer to the uprights.

Formerly named the Barbarian Ultimate Adjustable Bench, the MBX-660 is now incorporated into the ATX line up of gym equipment. The 2024 mark 2 version of the MBX-660 improves on the original with a rubber shroud over the wheel and rear foot and some better-finished handles for transportation and adjustment.
